Transcript Request Instructions
You must submit official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate academic work from each college or university attended and have them sent to the Office of Admissions at Berit Seminary.
Due to current staffing and modality shifts in response to COVID-19, if your school offers the option, please submit official electronic transcripts instead of official paper transcripts. See instructions for “Electronic transcripts” below.
Paper transcripts are only considered official by Berit Seminary if they arrive at Berit’s Admissions Office in an envelope sealed by the issuing academic institution (transcripts are usually requested from a school’s Registrar’s or Student Records Office).
Once sealed by the issuing institution, the envelope containing the transcript should not be opened by anyone (including the applicant) except a member of Berit’s staff. Paper transcripts must be sent to:
Berit Theological Seminary
4156 East Oglethorpe Hwy,
Hinesville, GA, 31313,USA
Electronic transcripts must be sent through an official third-party transcript vendor service directly to firstname.lastname@example.org. If your school does not use an official third-party vendor service, you must request an official paper transcript instead.
Scanned transcripts that are received as email attachments CANNOT be considered official, regardless of the sender.
If you graduated from an institution, the official transcript must include the degree awarded and conferral date. (For institutions outside of the U.S., it is at the discretion of the Office of Admissions to determine U.S. degree equivalency.)
